About Soleil Brule
Jennifer Vervoort-Smith founded Soleil Brule Importers in 2004. She sought to create a business stocking many items she acquired
on her travels. She is intrigued by the culture and motifs of Morocco and the style of Orientalism and creates refined yet relaxed settings for
contemporary living. To Vervoort-Smith, design is found in details of the hand crafted and artisanal. She regularly goes on
buying junkets to Morocco and other exotic destinations to increase her ever widening inventory of Marquetry case goods, native textiles, beaded and intricately cut metal lighting and leather goods.
The focus is on one of a kind statement pieces that lend global perspective to traditional or contemporary settings.
